SEECs Digital Power Hour

A four-part interactive hybrid workshop series designed to help Schoharie County business owners excel in digital marketing. Hosted by SEEC, these sessions offer actionable steps, hands-on tutorials, and real-world examples to support online business success. Attendees will have the opportunity to share challenges and receive expert-led guidance in a collaborative setting. By tackling common digital hurdles, this series aims to equip Schoharie County businesses with practical strategies and valuable resources to grow online. 

2025 Series Hosts

  • BLK Dog Designs – A full-service marketing company delivering organizational branding, web design and development, and marketing services.

  • Paperkite – A creative agency specializing in branding, web design, and digital marketing strategies to help businesses stand out online. 

  • Primeau Fahey & Associates – A marketing and media agency known for its expertise in video production, storytelling, and digital content creation to help businesses grow. 

  • Product Paths – A business consultancy specializing in product development, go-to-market strategies, and business growth solutions to help companies scale effectively. 

  • SUNY Cobleskill – A local state college offering hands-on, career-focused education in agriculture, business, technology, and environmental sciences, preparing students for success in emerging industries through experiential learning. The college is also home to the Institute for Rural Vitality, which supports economic development in rural communities, and the Mohawk Valley Entrepreneurship Assistance Center (MV-EAC), which provides resources, training, and mentorship to help small businesses and startups thrive. 

Community Impact

  • Expanded Business Resources and Network Connections

    · 24+ Digital Marketing firms were introduced to the local small business community

    · SEEC launched a Digital Enlighten Series of workshops and “Power Hours” with digital experts as a FREE resource for local businesses to continue learning tips of the digital trade

  • Community and Economic Development Engagement

    · A successful public-private collaboration of Schoharie County government and SEEC

    · Businesses from each corner of Schoharie County benefitted (15 different municipalities served having local businesses participate)

  • Community Character and Environmental Enhancements

    · Leveraging broadband access enables the built environment to be fully utilized mitigating impact on the environment, preserving the working landscapes

  • Business and Industry Growth 

    · 40 small businesses assisted: 17 ag-related and 14 located in Historic Main Districts

    · 30 new jobs created, 120 jobs retained

    · Capital Investment: $1,049,000
